Features: As a core textbook for the Packaging Engineering major, this book requires a solid foundation in mathematics, mechanics, or materials science, as well as a comprehensive understanding of related packaging engineering courses. Through the study of this course, students will master relevant theories, design methods, and experimental techniques, and develop preliminary engineering capabilities for independently designing advanced logistics and transportation packaging systems. Due to the constraints of teaching hours and textbook length, some data and figures have been omitted, while the descriptions of fundamental theories are retained. Based on principles such as being oriented toward the 21st century, the world, Chinese characteristics, balancing teaching and enterprise needs, and (balancing theoretical rigor and engineering practicality), the original textbooks Buffering Packaging Dynamics (1989) and Transport Packaging (1999) edited by the author have been extensively revised and supplemented. The book incorporates the essence of domestic and international materials, striving to achieve a balance between scientific rigor and advanced concepts while meeting requirements for educational purposefulness, overall coherence, progressive structure, and prescribed content. It is designed to meet the teaching needs of undergraduate and associate degree students while also facilitating self-study for enterprise technical personnel.
