Features: Life is a thick book. Once opened, it presents an endless array of wonders. Throughout history, almost everyone has interpreted life in their own way—some superficially, some deeply and richly. Yet no one claims to fully comprehend this highly complex subject, not even Confucius or Mencius, nor Socrates or Plato. It is precisely because of this that the human desire to explore the meaning of life and seek reasonable ways of living continues to burn brightly, passing from one generation to the next. Endlessly. Five Chapters of Life is an exploration of this very subject. Every article in the book begins with a story, and profound life philosophies are often hidden within these captivating short tales. The stories range from real-life events in everyday life to, from anecdotes and legends of famous figures in ancient China to workplace experiences from abroad. Most of these stories are light-hearted and humorous, allowing readers to enjoy the wisdom of life and how to act in a pleasant reading experience. If readers can take a little time out of their busy lives to read this book with a mindset of enjoying stories, they might gain some insights into the world, thus making their journey through life a little freer and avoiding some detours.
