As the sky began to darken, the little boy still clutched a coin in his hand. He asked from shop to shop, "Excuse me, do you have God for sale here?" The shopkeepers, all impatient, drove him out of their stores one after another. By then, he had visited 39 shops, but he was not discouraged at all. The owner of the 39th shop was an old man in his 60s, with a kind and benevolent appearance. He warmly welcomed the boy and, after hearing his request, smiled and asked, "Child, why do you want to buy God?" The boy told the old man that his name was Andy, and his parents had passed away long ago. He had been raised by his uncle, who had been very good to him and taught him many things. The boy continued to speak, and the old man learned that Andy's uncle was a worker who had recently fallen from a scaffold and remained unconscious. The doctor said that only God could save him. Upon hearing this, Andy decided to buy God and have his uncle eat it, so his injuries would heal. Hearing the boy's story, the old man was deeply moved and then asked, "If you want to buy God, how much money do you have?" Andy said, "I only have one dollar." "Child, the price of God is exactly one dollar," the old man took the money from the boy's hand and then picked up a beverage from the shelf called "God's Kiss." "Here, your uncle can drink this, and he will be fine." Soon after, Andy's uncle was discharged from the hospital. When he saw the astronomical figure on the bill, he nearly fainted. However, the hospital told him that an old man had already paid the bill for him. It turned out that the old man was a billionaire who had now retired and lived quietly in the city, running a grocery store to pass the time. Andy's uncle immediately took his nephew to thank the old man. But by then, the old man had already traveled abroad. After a long time passed, one day, Andy's uncle received a letter written by the old man: "It is truly a great fortune for you to have Andy as your nephew. To save you, he went around buying God—thank God, it was him who saved your life."
