Does the Dog Know You're Coming Home? Exploring the Amazing Animal Sense of Awareness

Features: This book not only provides us with unique and profound insights into the behavior of animals and humans but also challenges the limitations of traditional scientific thinking. Currently, some of the most beloved and valuable books about animals include The Elephant Who Cried, The Secret Life of Dogs, and Dogs Are Not the Scoundrels of Love, among others. This book is comparable to and no less outstanding than these works. Many pet owners can swear that their animals have once exhibited behaviors that they could not explain. How do dogs know that workers are about to come home? How do cats know that they will need to visit the vet even before the owner brings out the carrier? How do horses navigate unfamiliar territory to return to their old stables? And why can some pets predict when their owners are about to have a seizure? The author uses a rigorous scientific approach to systematically investigate these puzzling animal behaviors. With the mind of a scientist and a deep love for animals, he presents compelling arguments showing that animals can be closely connected to each other, to their owners, and to their homes through invisible bonds, and we are also closely connected to our pets through these social connections of social animals. He proposes the insightful concept of "morphic fields," which can explain the strange behaviors often exhibited by pets as well as the remarkable behaviors of wildlife, such as seasonal migration and homing.
