Features: The development of the ancient books collection and publication industry hinges on the cultivation and reserve of professionals. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China's "Indication on the Collection and Publication of Ancient Books in China" also emphasizes the urgency and necessity of building leadership teams and cultivating talents for the ancient books collection and publication industry. In line with the goal of cultivating professional talents in ancient books collection and publication, the Office of the National Plan Committee for the Collection and Publication of Ancient Books has successively held the National Ancient Books Society Editors Training Courses from 2001 to 2004, inviting experts from all over the country to teach, providing students with professional knowledge and technical guidance in the field of ancient books collection and publication. Currently, this initiative has received positive feedback. In the future, the Office of the National Plan Committee for the Collection and Publication of Ancient Books has decided to establish training courses as a system, holding them annually to cultivate as many talents as possible for the ancient books collection and publication industry in China. The lecture notes of the first three training courses have been compiled into "Ten Lectures on Ancient Books Collection and Publication," "A Random Talk on Ancient Books Editing," and "A Random Talk on Ancient Books Collection and Publication," which have been separately published by Yue Lu Book Society and Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House. The lecture notes of the fourth training course have been compiled into "A Collection of Talks on Ancient Books Collection and Publication," published by Guangling Book Society, which is expected to contribute to the improvement of the national level of ancient books collection and publication in the National Ancient Books Society Editors Training Courses.
