What are some good methods for treating intellectual disability?

Patient's question:

When studying, how to teach and explain still doesn't make sense, and I suspect I might be mentally retarded. What are the symptoms of this condition? Please ask: What are the effective methods for treating intellectual disability?

Doctor's answer:

Children with intellectual disabilities often show the earliest characteristics as difficulty feeding, sometimes refusing to suck, and being particularly prone to vomiting; they often have longer sleep times, are very quiet all day, and rarely cry. They take longer to master various movements (such as sitting, standing, walking, and responding) compared to typical children; they show little interest in their surroundings and do not look at things around them. Children with intellectual disabilities often still put blocks or other objects in their mouths at the age of 2-3; after 2-3 years, they often drool. The crying of children with intellectual disabilities is sharp or weak, with little variation in tone. They show no interest in toys and will not play with them even when holding them. They shift from being sleepier and more inactive as young children to being restless and constantly moving throughout the day, with their movements lacking purpose.
