Features: Zhu Hong is one of the most familiar Hong Kong actresses to mainland audiences. Her bright and clear eyes, always full of life, will forever be etched in the hearts of fans. Rather than calling Zhu Hong an actress, she is more like a symbol of an era. Her performances challenge audiences' definition of beauty time and again—sometimes enchanting, sometimes dignified, sometimes playful, sometimes joyful, and sometimes both virtuous and wicked. Her ever-changing style leaves you in awe with each new film she stars in. This book truly documents the glorious career of the legendary actress Zhu Hong. Using a chronicle-style approach, it narrates the extraordinary experiences in Zhu Hong's film career, interwoven with illustrations of her main films. Especially notable are the numerous rare star photos and personal snapshots of Zhu Hong, allowing readers to intimately feel the charm of this actress from years past. The book is like a memoir, yet more like an old photo album, making it highly collectible.
