Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2005-11-01
Features: The "Zhao Dingyu Catalogue" records the bibliography of books collected by Zhao Dingyu. The compilation format is essentially ledger-style, although it is categorized, the categories are not very precise. When the book was photocopied, the original text was not altered; only the correct information was placed in parentheses at the end. An index of four-corner numbers is appended at the back. Zhao Yongxian, styled Dingyu, was a native of Changshu in the Ming Dynasty, fond of collecting and printing books. This catalogue is his private collection directory, originally an old manuscript copy from the Ming and Qing dynasties, once collected by renowned figures such as Cao Yin (Liangting). The catalogue includes the complete 244-volume directory of "Bai Tong" (not found in other books). At the end, a title index is appended.
