Features: This book collects fourteen essays on the study of fu literature written by the author over the past ten years. They are basically divided into two parts, with a focus on fu literature and its history. The first part contains eight essays, some of which meticulously analyze and comprehensively discuss the research literature on fu from various dynasties, while others shift perspectives to explore issues related to fu literature in inscriptions, notes, classified compendia, and collected works. Each essay has a different emphasis and approach, but all aim to re-examine the history of fu through literature. The second part contains six essays that discuss various aspects of the three-thousand-year evolution of fu history, primarily centered on fu writers and their creations, analyzing and tracing the historical rhythms presented in them. The last two essays, "On Fu in Quatrain Form," have a unique style and are relatively brief, supplemented by concise annotations. The first fifty discuss fu from the pre-Qin and Han periods, while the last fifty focus on the Tang and Song dynasties, potentially serving as a supplement and continuation to the author's previously written "History of Fu Literature in the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties," aiming to achieve a certain form of relative completeness.
