The SSE's "SSE Joint Research Program" is a new initiative by the Shanghai Stock Exchange to promote collaboration and exchange between Chinese securities research institutions and the legal community. With the support and joint efforts of all sectors of society, the program has successfully completed five phases, yielding a series of noteworthy research outcomes. To further advance securities market research, mobilize and integrate social research resources, enhance the transparency and openness of topic selection and tendering for research projects, and improve research quality and efficiency, the SSE has publicly solicited research topics and conducted project and funding tenders both domestically and internationally.
The SSE Joint Research Program consists of two categories: Financial and Securities, and Legal. Applicants must submit a research proposal and a detailed research plan for the candidate topic, including research scope, significance, existing research foundation, research outline, expected outcomes, introductions of team members, research schedule, research methods, and funding arrangements. The SSE will determine the selected projects and their implementers based on the applicants' research capabilities and plans.
To promote securities market research, advance the marketization and standardization of China's securities market, accelerate reforms and innovation in the securities market, and provide decision-making support to leadership, the Shanghai Stock Exchange periodically publishes "SSE Research." Our mission is to provide a high-level publication platform for securities market research in China and to serve as a hub for research exchange within the industry. We advocate conducting in-depth research on key, hot, and cutting-edge issues in China's securities market using internationally recognized methods, with a rigorous and pragmatic approach. We hope that through collective efforts, "SSE Research" can publish a series of outstanding research outcomes, offering independent, rational, and forward-looking policy recommendations and implementation plans for the development of China's securities market.
