Features: Foreign Philosophy was founded by the Commercial Press in 1984 and published a total of fourteen issues by 1998, pioneering a new academic style and tradition for the study of foreign philosophy in China after the reform and opening-up, exerting a broad influence in academia. After discussions with the Commercial Press, starting from the fifteenth issue, the Institute of Foreign Philosophy at Peking University is responsible for the manuscript acquisition and editing work of Foreign Philosophy. To further enhance the academic standards of the journal, we have adopted the internationally recognized "double-blind" peer-review system. In addition to continuing to publish interpretive essays on the history and classics of foreign philosophy, this journal will place particular emphasis on publishing outstanding works in areas such as the integration of history and theory, critical reviews, and comparative studies between Chinese and foreign philosophies. We sincerely hope for the support of colleagues nationwide, and we welcome contributions to make Foreign Philosophy a scholarly haven where outstanding minds gather and diverse perspectives flourish.
