Features: In November 1978, the academic conference on ancient Chinese scriptology was held at Jilin University. The conference decided to establish the Academic Research Society of Ancient Chinese Scriptology and to compile the papers submitted to the conference into a collection titled Research on Ancient Chinese Scriptology, which was published by Zhonghua Book Company. In August 1979, the first issue of Research on Ancient Chinese Scriptology was officially launched. Over the past two decades, the field of ancient Chinese scriptology has developed rapidly. As a professional academic journal dedicated to this discipline, Research on Ancient Chinese Scriptology has already compiled and published a total of twenty-five issues, featuring numerous outstanding research articles and contributing to the flourishing of academia. Currently, the early issues of Research on Ancient Chinese Scriptology that were previously published have long been sold out. To meet the needs of a broad readership of professionals, we will first reproduce the issues from the first to the fifteenth published before 1986 in their original format. Please note this.
