Features: For every person who has purchased a new home, they are in such a state—those who have bought a new home are no longer satisfied with just having space and functional areas, but rather care about how interior design can provide a comfortable life while giving the environment more cultural connotations to meet people's multi-level needs for life. This is precisely the change brought about by economic development and social progress, or perhaps it doesn't require such broad inclusivity regarding interior design. Otherwise, as one of the earliest manifestations of human civilization—building houses to live in—we are truly "adding bricks and mortar" on the innate instincts and skilled work of our ancestors, making living spaces align with the overall development level of human civilization. This book is a collection of model home designs from major new residential projects in Shanghai, and it is precisely based on the above requirements that we searched for dozens of interior design cases designed by professional designers from seventeen outstanding real estate companies. From different perspectives, these cases interpret the modern international design standards and the pursuit of quality and taste in urban life, while also indirectly reflecting the overall improvement in living standards in Shanghai. It can be said that it is a microcosm of our socio-economic and cultural comprehensive development synchronizing with the world.
