Features: This collection includes some articles written by the author since the 1980s, arranged by content and divided into three parts. These articles generally reflect the author's basic academic perspective and research approach. Based on the analysis of the nature, connotations, temporal and spatial frameworks, development, and interrelationships of archaeological cultural remains, they further utilize various archaeological evidence, incorporate research findings from technological archaeology, appropriately cite comparative materials from ethnology, and attempt to explore changes in social relations at the time, reveal technological and economic achievements, and discuss the spiritual and cultural life. The goal is to partially reconstruct social history and continuously deepen the understanding of China's prehistoric era. For the previously published articles, apart from minor technical modifications, the content and viewpoints remain unchanged, largely preserving their original form and reflecting the author's research level and understanding at the time of writing. Archaeology is always enriched by new discoveries, providing researchers with broad opportunities for deeper insights and updated perspectives. It is believed that with the collective efforts of scholars across generations, Chinese prehistoric archaeology will reach new academic heights in the future.
