Each part is arranged in chronological order based on the time of publication. The first part focuses on reviews of economic theory, with a primary emphasis on assessing the progress of China's economic theory over the past 50 years, especially during the 20 years of reform and opening-up. The second part is on the theoretical research of economic reform. It mainly collects articles discussing socialist commodity economy theory, market-oriented reform theory, and market economy theory, as well as those discussing the development of price reform theory. The third part is on the sustained and stable rapid development of the national economy. This section of articles more prominently reflects the author's consistent advocacy that economic development should pursue "progress within stability." The fourth part is on market-oriented reform. This section of articles discusses how to advance market-oriented reform from various perspectives. The fifth part is on major issues of deepening reform in the new century. In the first 20 years of the new century, China entered a new stage of development, building a moderately prosperous society and basically achieving industrialization. The sixth part is on improving the basic economic system. A prominent feature of China's economic reform is that while advancing the market-oriented reform of public-owned economy, the individual and private non-public sectors have rapidly developed and grown, making the national economy more vibrant and dynamic. The seventh part is on the reform of state-owned enterprises and the reform of the state-owned asset management system. The eighth part is on price reform. The ninth part is on the issue of production prices in socialist economy.
