Features: Taishan Inscription, also known as the "Stele of Mount Tai," was erected by Prime Minister Li Si in praise of the emperor during Qin Shi Huang's ascent of Mount Tai in the 28th year of the Qin Dynasty (219 BC). It is believed to have been written by Li Si. The calligraphy is round and forceful, meticulous and well-executed, representing the epitome of Qin Dynasty small seal script. The Lantai Terrace Inscription, originally located in Zucheng, Shandong, was erected in the 28th year of the Qin Dynasty and is believed to be a work by Li Si. The brushwork is robust and round. Yang Shoujing wrote in his postscript on this stele: "[The traces of the Qin Dynasty are only this majestic. Although worn and eroded, the ancient and profound essence remains, truly an unparalleled divine masterpiece.] These two inscriptions are combined into one volume, using old, high-quality rubbings for reproduction, making it more convenient for calligraphy enthusiasts to practice."
