Features: The Western Han Dynasty Jiubei King's tomb unearthed at Shuanglushan in Changqing County, Jinan (now Changqing District) from 1995 to 1996, was selected as one of the top ten archaeological discoveries of the year. Archaeologists have identified the tomb's owner as the King of Jiubei during the reigns of Emperor Wu and Emperor Zhao of the Western Han Dynasty. So far, the excavation of the Shuanglushan Han tomb has only published the "Brief Report on the Excavation" and a few related articles. To avoid affecting the compilation of the official excavation report, this book adopts a principle of detailed and concise descriptions for the artifacts and phenomena unearthed. For the published artifacts and phenomena, it provides as thorough and detailed an introduction as possible, based on extensive research. For the unpublished parts, it mainly introduces their basic excavation conditions. The author selects typical excavation cases, collaborates with the excavation leaders to request them to write excavation records, and obtains their consent to include as much information as possible about the entire excavation process of a site, as well as relevant data to understand the ancient context, such as historical background and geographical environment. After a period of effort, the author's wish has finally been realized. Now, the significant archaeological excavation records that combine both narrative and emotional accounts are presented to the public.
