Features: This "Handbook" is a revised edition of the "Chinese-Russian Classified Vocabulary Handbook" written by the Department of Foreign Languages, Nanjing University (Commercial Press, January 1979 edition). Since 1979, significant changes have occurred domestically and internationally, with many new terms emerging. As a result, the revised edition has been expanded and reduced in various sections, with some parts undergoing substantial revisions. Based on practical needs, a small number of terms from different historical periods have been retained. Unfortunately, many widely used terms are currently in circulation, but they could not be included due to the lack of reliable Russian materials or unreliable sources. The newly added terms in this edition generally appeared before the end of 1985 and have been included in formally published works. A few are written by the compilers based on relevant materials. The number of entries has increased from the original 20,000. This "Handbook" can be used for reference by translators, those going abroad, and other users of the Russian language.
