Publish Date: 2004-12-01
Features: Liao-Jin poetry studies constitute an important part of Chinese poetry studies, yet they have long been insufficiently recognized by academia. In recent years, there has been a heartening shift, with several significant works ( does not need translation, return as is), and the Liao-Jin Literature Society (in preparation) was officially established at Hebei University in November 2002. To further promote the study of Liao-Jin literature, the Research Center for Chinese Poetry Studies at Anhui Normal University, in collaboration with the Liao-Jin Literature Society (in preparation), jointly initiated the compilation of the "Special Issue on Liao-Jin Poetry Studies," which received an enthusiastic response and support from scholars both at home and abroad. This issue collects 17 papers by scholars from around the world, covering multiple aspects such as Liao-Jin poetic theory and criticism, Liao-Jin poetic creation, and Liao-Jin poetic literature. Special thanks are extended to the President of the Liao-Jin Literature Society (in preparation), Mr. Zhang Jing, and all colleagues who generously contributed their works.
