The bold faction is primarily represented by Su Shi and Xin Qiji, while the delicate faction includes more renowned names such as Yan Shu, Ouyang Xiu, Liu Yong, Qin Guan, Zhou Bangyan, Li Qingzhao, Jiang Kui, and Wu Wenying. In the history of Chinese literature, Tang poetry and Song lyrics have always been paired together. As a literary treasure of its era, Song lyrics are an indispensable cultural heritage for every Chinese person. Three Hundred Song Lyrics has both privately printed editions and multiple annotated versions. For this publication, we have strived to preserve the original appearance as much as possible, supplemented with modern punctuation. Minor errors in the original text have been corrected directly without providing detailed notes. For the sake of recitation and discussion, annotations on the vocabulary and background stories of the lyrics are kept concise and essential. For the authors of the lyrics, brief introductions are provided when their works first appear.
