It begins in the 14th year of the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty (1888) and ends in the 31st year of the Republic of China (1942), covering a period of 55 years. The vast time span and extensive content make it truly rare. The recorded content is mostly about events in Yong and Rui, but it basically reflects major events that occurred in Wenzhou during this period, as well as the social landscape and folklore of the time, possessing rich geographical and historical material value.
