Riding the Waves of the Art Sea -- Grand Art Study Room

Features: Glancing through the table of contents of this book, it summarizes the eight major plays that have had an impact on the art scene in the new era. However, they vary in complexity and length. Among them, the academic paper on "The Scholar of Bashan" is relatively brief, and there is a lack of a long monograph on the creative experiences of "Sunset over Qishan" and "The Face of a Demon." More ink is spent on "Pan Jinlian" and "Turandot." These two plays are not my most mature works, but they are highly acclaimed and have a broad influence, sparking two waves of cultural fervor that drew national and even international attention. One occurred in the mid-1980s, and the other in the late 1990s. A pile of diverse reviews has accumulated here, and the two selected excerpts are just a fraction of them. To date, no comprehensive monograph has been published to fully document these two "tides in the sea of theater." Several years later, when the materials are lost, wouldn’t that be a pity? I intend to compile specialized collections from my exclusive collection of rich materials related to these two cultural waves at the right time. One titled "The Never-Ending Debate (Pan Jinlian)," and the other "Two Chinese Princesses." I believe they will have considerable readability, as well as academic significance and historical-literary value. Of course, this is not a bestseller and won’t make much money. This requires more "great art bookroom" editors with unique academic insights to include these two worth-studying cultural phenomena in their publishing topics.
