5. Example Sentences: Each entry is accompanied by an example sentence to illustrate the meaning and usage of the idiom. The entry mentioned in the example sentence is replaced with "-".
6. Arrangement: Entries are arranged in alphabetical order of Pinyin. For entries with the same initial sound and tone, they are ordered by the number of strokes and the starting stroke shape of the first character. For entries with the same initial sound, they are arranged by the number of strokes and the starting stroke shape of the first character. For entries with the same character and sound, the second and third characters are used for ordering.
7. Index: An "Index of Entries by Stroke Order of the First Character" is appended at the end of the dictionary for reference.
