The author of Old Tales of Dayabao is Zhang Langlang, the son of the renowned Chinese art designer and designer of the national emblem, Zhang Ding. The "Dayabao" hutong in Beijing was the residence of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in the 1950s, where many artists gathered. The author spent his childhood and youth there. This book, written from a child's perspective and with a light yet profound style, depicts the lives of artists during the early years of the People's Republic in the midst of "movements." It leaves readers both laughing through tears and seeing the passage of time in the humor. The "Wenhui Original Series" has compiled original works from around the world and has already had a positive and far-reaching impact on the reading community. During this book fair, four more titles—Old Tales of Dayabao, Looking Back at Moscow, Ruin and Glory, and Creation—will also be launched.
