Features: Babi is the main residential area of the Hua Yi Miao people. The Miao people primarily live in the lush, deep-forested Moon Mountain area, where both men and women wear elaborate, brightly colored clothing. The clothing-making techniques include pick-weaving, batik dyeing, and flat embroidery, among others. Both men's and women's formal attire are traditional "one-piece dresses." Babi Village, home to about a hundred households, features clothing adorned with colorful embroidery and bird feathers, with silver crowns on their heads and silver necklaces around their necks. The village is built on a mountain, with houses made entirely of wood, divided into two floors. The lower floor is used to house domestic animals, while the upper floor serves as living quarters, divided into different rooms based on function. The village sits on a hill at an altitude of about 580 meters, with small and large fields scattered across the slopes, lush and pleasant in climate. At the foot of the village lies a Qing Dynasty-era Miao King's tomb, with the inscribed with the history of the old Miao King resisting Qing troops and foreign invasions.
