These works are contributed by senior diplomats of our country, who are veterans of diplomatic struggles under the command of three generations of central leadership. They have dedicated several decades of their lives to the diplomatic cause of the republic, sacrificing their youth and hard work. What is particularly commendable is that even after retiring, they remain committed to diplomacy, striving to open new platforms for serving the diplomatic work. They established the Diplomatic Writers' Association and over the past decade, have published over a thousand articles and nearly a hundred books. They have received praise from all sectors of society, both domestically and internationally. In their writings, there are the twists and turns of complex situations, as well as the joyful chapters of friendly exchanges; there are solemn reflections on major events, as well as casual portrayals of exotic tales from distant lands; there are analyses of intricate international issues, as well as revelations of long-buried political secrets. The works are extensive and diverse, mostly based on personal experiences, observations, and firsthand accounts. The content is engaging, and the emotions are genuine, combining intellectual depth, knowledge, and entertainment. It is hoped that this book will benefit readers in broadening their international perspectives, deepening their understanding of the world, and cultivating a spirit of love for their country and people.
