Through written descriptions, it concisely introduces the situation of each national key cultural relic site in Shaanxi, accompanied by photographs. The 55 national key cultural relic protection units in our province are broadly divided into categories such as ancient sites, ancient tombs, ancient buildings, grottoes and stone carvings, important modern and contemporary historical sites, representative buildings, and others, all of which possess significant historical and academic research value. Sites like the Lantian Ape Man Site and the Banpo Prehistoric Village Site are internationally renowned important historical sites for studying human origins and primitive social life. Capital city sites and imperial mausoleums serve as evidence of important stages in the historical development of the Chinese nation, while grottoes and important stone carvings are symbols of the economic and cultural prosperity of various stages of feudal society in China. Shaanxi not only has a rich historical and cultural heritage but also holds an important position in the nation's revolutionary cultural relics. Revolutionary memorial sites declared as national key cultural relic protection units have all played significant roles in the history of the modern Chinese people's revolutionary struggles. These national key cultural relic protection units fully reflect the profound historical accumulation of Shaanxi's ancient land.
