Features: "Perspectives" is an irregular series that emphasizes the thematic nature of humanities and academic subjects. Each issue focuses on a specific topic, inviting expert editors to select representative works (or compile key academic viewpoints) from scholars abroad and provide comprehensive reviews, aiming to offer readers a relatively complete introduction to a particular academic subject. In addition to reviewing new academic concepts and information, it will also make rational choices in academic considerations of different cultural value judgments; to meet the needs of young scholars for understanding foreign academic culture, it will provide accessible interpretations of some new academic terms (including cross-linguistic definitions). These efforts will serve the multi-level and diversified needs of the modernization of Chinese academic culture, broadening the intellectual space for humanities research in the domestic academic community. We hope to track the humanities trends and research hotspots in contemporary foreign academia, reflecting the high-level achievements of foreign scholars on this topic.
