Features: "Liezi" is a renowned classic in the history of ancient Chinese thought and culture, belonging to the works of various schools of thought. It is a book of wisdom that enlightens the mind, offers inspiration, and imparts knowledge. "Liezi" is a compilation of works by Liezi, his disciples, and later scholars. The entire book consists of eight chapters and one hundred forty chapters, composed of philosophical prose, fables, mythological stories, and historical stories. It primarily expresses subtle philosophical ideas through fable form. There are a total of 102 mythological and fable stories. For example, the "Yellow Emperor" chapter has nineteen, the "King Mu of Zhou" chapter has eleven, and the "Sayings of Symbols" chapter has thirty. These mythological and fable stories, along with the philosophical prose, shine with the brilliance of wisdom. Each chapter of "Liezi," regardless of length, is self-contained, has its own theme, reflects wisdom and philosophy, is easy to understand, and is highly engaging. As long as we read each chapter carefully and reflect deeply, we can gain enlightenment. It is entirely comparable to the ancient Greek "Aesop's Fables."
