Features: The failures of Lu Xun and Kafka bear some comparability. If it can be said that Kafka spent his entire life submitting apologies for his innocence to a higher court, Lu Xun spent his life searching for a faith he could stand on. If it can be said that Kafka, due to his cowardice and lack of patience, ultimately ended his self-defense in failure, Lu Xun, through his obsession with struggle and criticism, repeatedly abandoned the faith he had in his hands, ultimately ending up with nothing in his hands (except for "not forgiving one"). If it can be said that the failed Kafka became so terrified that he could only burrow into the ground, Lu Xun ultimately reached a point of despair, punishing everyone without forgiveness.
