Features: Philosophers engage in theoretical exploration to address the questions of their time and the fundamental questions of philosophy. Therefore, the starting point of theory is the question. The most fundamental question in the field of philosophy is the relationship between heaven and humanity, nature and the spirit (or the relationship among nature, spirit, and ideas). This is the fundamental starting point for philosophical theoretical exploration. The main purpose of this book is to discuss the dialectics of the cognitive process based on practice, especially how to achieve a leap from "transforming knowledge into wisdom" to gain an understanding of human nature and the Dao. In his research on the history of philosophy, Mr. Feng Qi summarized the main issues of epistemology into four: Can perception give us objective reality? How can theoretical thinking grasp universally valid knowledge? Can logical thinking grasp concrete truths (primarily the principle of world unity and development)? How can an ideal or free personality be cultivated? This book provides a systematic examination of these issues. A true understanding of human nature and the Dao is intrinsically linked to the development of human freedom, which is wisdom. Wisdom grants freedom by transforming theory into methods and theory into virtue. Here, "theory" refers to the systematic theory of philosophy, characterized by the pursuit of "extensive understanding" (deeply exploring the relationship between heaven and humanity and synthesizing the teachings of various schools). It is a comprehensive perspective on the universe and life, including the understanding of human nature and the Dao, as well as the understanding of this understanding—this is the doctrine of wisdom. In the doctrine of wisdom, understanding the world and understanding oneself are not two separate endeavors but are interconnected through the interaction of understanding the world and understanding oneself based on practice. Through the process of consolidating the Dao into virtue and revealing the truth to promote the Dao, one ultimately reaches the virtue of freedom, experiencing the relative within the absolute and the finite within the infinite.
