Boredom is the Key to Reading is a collection of micro-book reviews, with 300 entries. The author is a true reader, delving into classic works that most people (including scholars) dare not or find difficult to read, with an extremely broad scope, including philosophy, economics, sociology, political science, religion, history, physics, mathematics, biology, and medicine. What makes the author impressive is his effortless reading of masterpieces, driven purely by interest. Every book he reads offers unique insights, which he explains clearly, leaving no room for doubt. For example, in reviewing The End of Science, he remarks: "The title is alarming, but the insights are not without reason." Why? Because "the scientific endeavor, which values solving 'thought problems' and understanding the world, is increasingly being replaced by 'high technology' that focuses on solving 'food problems' and utilizing the world, putting science at risk of premature demise." In just a few words, he sparks new ways of thinking. Such enlightenment is scattered throughout the book.
