This book collects his lecture notes and scattered historical manuscripts from his teaching career, marking the first time they are published. In accordance with his wishes, the entire book is printed in traditional vertical characters, with names, places, and titles not marked with symbols. Generally, common characters are used, while a few variant characters are retained. Professor Chen Yinque's classical poems are of the highest quality in both quantity and artistic value. This book includes over 150 of his poems. Dunhuang Zilixi collects seven Dunhuang manuscript copies from Paris, London, and the Ro collection. It includes Wei Zhuang's Qinfuren Yin, Yunyao Jiacu (30 poems), Jibu Ge, three Focu, three Licu, three Xiaocu, and one volume of Soushenji. Professor Chen Yinque once annotated the Qinfuren Yin and Yunyao Jiacu. In 1936, he published Reading Qinfuren Yin (Tsinghua Journal, Vol. 11, No. 4). In 1940, he further revised and published Weizhuang's Qinfuren Yin Annotation (self-published in Kunming, titled Qinfuren Yin Annotation). In 1950, he wrote Supplementary Corrections to the Old Draft of Qinfuren Yin Annotation (Lingnan Journal, Vol. 12, No. 2). These were later compiled under the title Weizhuang's Qinfuren Yin Annotation and included here. In his research on the history of the Sui and Tang dynasties, Professor Chen extensively collected materials from Tang Dynasty notes, novels, and poetry. His works such as Yuanbai Shi Jian Zheng Gao, On Zaishengyuan, and Liu Rushi Bi Zhuan can be considered his three representative works, uniquely using literary and historical texts as primary materials to explore and analyze history.
