Features: Gu Siuli selected and compiled Yuan Shi Xuan (Selection of Yuan Dynasty Poetry), organizing it into ten volumes labeled from Jia to Shang. The first three volumes extensively collected individual collections of Yuan poets, totaling 337 families. The fourth volume (Ji) compiled only a few poems from various selected works, as well as those found in geographical records, local histories, and the writings of low-ranking officials and obscure scholars, amounting to approximately 2,400 families. This demonstrates the significant role of the Ji volume in Yuan Shi Xuan, a comprehensive collection of Yuan Dynasty poetry. Without the Ji volume, Yuan Shi Xuan would be incomplete and insufficient to reflect the overall style of poetry from the Yuan Dynasty.
