Features: Looking back at the publication of foreign poetry in China during the 20th century, we can very clearly see that the translation of poetry has always been in a scattered and non-systematic state. We are publishing this series of "20th Century World Poetry Translations" precisely to change this situation. We hope to contribute our modest efforts to fill a gap in China's publishing industry, thereby constructing a long corridor of the 20th-century world poetry history in Chinese, providing a complete picture of 20th-century poetry. This translation series plans to include fifty volumes, divided into five series, with ten volumes per series. "Selections of Modern Poetry Schools from Europe and America" focuses on introducing nearly twenty influential modern poetry schools from Europe and America in the 20th century, along with their representative poets and works. This carefully compiled selection profoundly outlines the development of Western modern poetry over the past century, showcasing the remarkable artistic characteristics of different schools and poets. Many of these schools are being introduced to Chinese readers for the first time, and the majority of the poems are either first translations or newly translated.
