Features: The book "Guan Dian Ji Wen" provides valuable historical materials for studying the politics, economy, and especially the institutional systems of the Ming Dynasty. Some of the historical records found in this book are not documented in other sources, or if documented, they are incomplete, making them even more significant. The specific content of the book, Volume 2, records: At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, the Zhongshu Sheng implemented the labor service system, requiring one laborer for every 100 mu of land. Those with less than 100 mu had to compensate with labor from other fields. How could the people, already burdened by labor, remain stable? From now on, for any major undertakings, temporary borrowing of their labor is acceptable, but for non-urgent tasks and trivial labor, it should be avoided. The book was first published during the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty and was later repeatedly printed and published as part of the "Congshu Jicheng" series.
