Publishing Date: 1991-09-01
Features: This book primarily focuses on the preaching activities of the Roman Catholic Church in Britain, chronicling over a hundred years of history from the time Augustine was commissioned to preach in Britain until the Roman Catholic Church gradually gained victory in various countries. The book consists of five volumes, as pointed out by Professor G. M. in the preface to the English translation, mainly divided according to major events in the church. The political history of seven countries is described in simpler terms. As for the social conditions of this period, the author did not pay much attention, merely hinting at a few pieces of information in the text.
