Publishing Date: 2001-07-01
Features: The establishment of cultural and art education programs in China is not very common, and the curriculum systems set up by different schools vary, with the teaching materials used also being inconsistent. Therefore, it is highly necessary and meaningful to develop a set of high-quality teaching materials for cultural and art education. Since there is no precedent for writing a series of specialized teaching materials for cultural and art education in China, the difficulty of this task is self-evident. Although this textbook was compiled by a teaching and research team composed of nearly 70 professors, associate professors, and doctors from the School of Humanities, with extensive teaching experience and strong research capabilities, most of the participating teachers have published personal monographs or served as chief editors or co-editors of teaching materials. Although we have determined that this series of textbooks should adhere to the principles of fundamentality, knowledge, scientificity, systematicity, and interest, the participating authors have striven to align with these principles, the above factors, combined with individual writing styles and tight deadlines, have inevitably led to certain shortcomings in the textbook. We sincerely hope that readers will provide criticism and suggestions so that the materials can be revised and improved in future editions.
