Features: This textbook is revised based on the "Nineteen-Ninety-Five" key textbook for financial majors in ordinary universities, "Actuarial Science." It is intended for use in teaching actuarial science at universities, employee training in insurance companies, and self-study. The textbook systematically introduces the fundamental knowledge, basic skills, and basic methods of actuarial science. Life actuarial science and non-life actuarial science have significant differences. To enable students to learn actuarial knowledge more comprehensively, the textbook is divided into two parts in terms of content arrangement: Part I is Life Actuarial Science, and Part II is Non-Life Actuarial Science. In terms of writing, life actuarial science is considered the main content, while non-life actuarial science is only briefly introduced. The textbook is compiled based on the absorption of some domestic and international actuarial textbooks, combining China's actuarial practice to strive for breakthroughs. Especially, all examples and exercises in the entire textbook are calculated based on China's Zhang experience life table, making the content more substantial and practically meaningful.
