Features: "Business Correspondence" (Revised Edition) was commissioned by the School of Continuing Education of the University of International Business and Economics. It is based on the widely adopted "International Business English Broadcasting Course Textbook for Higher Business and Economics Colleges: Business Correspondence" used for many years, combined with years of teaching practice, referenced extensively related materials, and meticulously revised according to teaching requirements. This revised edition is rich in information, abundant in exercises, and highly practical. The book consists of 36 lessons, divided into two parts: one is the main body, including texts, annotations, and exercises; the other is reference translations of texts and answers to exercises for self-study. The texts are organized according to business processes, and the correspondence for each process includes essential basic knowledge, aiming to be typical, easy to understand, easy to learn, and practical. The exercises also include content closely related to the texts but with greater difficulty, such as writing letters, translating contracts and letters of credit, etc. The purpose is to broaden knowledge while also cultivating and improving practical skills in reading, translation, and writing. If needed, some exercise content can also serve as supplementary material. To write effective business correspondence, one must not only have language skills but also possess relevant business knowledge. During revision, annotations in some texts were appropriately added to provide related business knowledge to support teaching. This textbook includes three sets of self-assessment tests, and it is hoped that they can be effectively utilized.
