Features: The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is divided into four levels: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4. Level 1 is the highest, and Level 4 is the lowest. Level 1 is equivalent to CET-6 in English, and Level 2 is equivalent to CET-4. The exam consists of three parts: [Vocabulary and Grammar], [Listening Comprehension], and [Speaking and Writing/Grammar]. The specific requirements for each level are as follows:
Level 1: Master advanced grammar, vocabulary (approximately 2,000 words), and word usage (approximately 10,000 words). In addition to mastering essential Japanese for daily life, you should possess comprehensive Japanese language skills for scientific research in Japanese universities. (900 hours of Japanese study)
Level 2: Master intermediate grammar, vocabulary (approximately 1,000 words), and word usage (approximately 6,000 words). You should have general conversational, reading, and writing abilities. (600 hours of Japanese study)
Level 3: Master basic grammar, vocabulary (approximately 300 words), and word usage (approximately 1,500 words). You should be able to engage in daily conversational Japanese and read/write simple articles. (300 hours of Japanese study)
Level 4: Master elementary grammar, vocabulary (approximately 100 words), and word usage (approximately 800 words). You should be able to have simple conversations and read/write plain, short Japanese articles. (150 hours of Japanese study)
