Features: With the continuous deepening of college English teaching reforms, the content and scoring standards of the CET (College English Test) have also been reformed. In terms of new question types, the CET no longer includes a separate "Vocabulary and Grammar" section. The listening test has increased from 20% to 35%, with the addition of longer dialogues. The reading section has been expanded to include a fast-reading component. The comprehensive section (involving cloze, error correction, short answers, or translation) has seen minimal changes. All these reforms have correspondingly increased the emphasis on English vocabulary. This book includes 5,500 words and common phrases for College English levels 1-6, with 4,500 words for levels 1-4 and 1,000 words for levels 5-6. Words for levels 5-6 are marked with a ▲, such as absurd▲. This book is compiled based on the vocabulary list of the General Requirements from the New College English Curriculum Requirements (Trial), to adapt to the new CET exam model with a maximum score of 710, and to complement college English classroom teaching.
