Publish Date: 2006-09-01
Features: This book consists of four parts. The first part is Japanese Sentence Patterns. It also selects some sentence patterns that are not included in the exam syllabus for Level 2 and Level 1 of the Japanese Proficiency Test but have appeared in past 10 years of exam questions, as well as those that may appear in the future. Therefore, it can be said that this book basically covers all necessary items for the Japanese Proficiency Test. The second part is Conjunctions, the third part is Adverbial Expressions. For ease of memorization, a classification method based on different functions is adopted. The fourth part selects some difficult points of elementary sentence patterns. While editing this book, although it was intended to meet the needs of candidates for the Japanese Proficiency Test Level 2 and Level 1, explanations were also provided as much as possible for near-synonymous sentence patterns, the differences in meaning and usage between near-synonyms (conjunctions, adverbs), which are often questioned by students in class. Efforts were made to help students understand how to distinguish between near-synonymous expressions through example sentences. Therefore, if intermediate or advanced Japanese learners encounter difficulties in distinguishing the usage of sentence patterns and other expressions, they are welcome to refer to this book, and many of their questions are likely to be resolved.
