Features: Starting this year, we will conduct violin proficiency examinations according to the new regulations. The revised examination pieces and requirements make the difficulty level of each grade more scientific and reasonable, aligning with the progression of the learning process. The requirements for basic violin skills are also becoming more standardized. It must be emphasized that a teaching method that dedicates an entire year to practicing only one set of examination pieces is ineffective. The violin is one of the most challenging instruments to play. Teachers must tailor technical progressions to each student's abilities, accumulating the necessary musical language for performance. It is harmful and futile to compare progress or pursue skipping grades. The purpose of learning the violin is not only to acquire certain playing skills but, more importantly, to enhance one's artistic refinement and express moving music through appropriate techniques. Parents and teachers should choose the suitable examination level based on each student's actual performance ability. "Forcing growth" will only sabotage the learning journey.
