Features: The Selected Collection of Chinese Folk Music Ensemble Pieces includes outstanding works for folk music ensembles by renowned composers from China and abroad. These pieces are among the most popular ones performed by professional and amateur folk music ensembles in recent years. Although various reasons prevented the collection from including even more excellent works, the pieces in the collection still largely reflect the creative achievements of folk music ensemble works in recent years. The publication of a collection of folk music ensemble pieces in this concentrated, serial, and multi-author format is a first in several years. The purpose of attempting this is to promote the development and research of folk music ensemble pieces through this collection. The publication of this collection has received enthusiastic support from many composers in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and overseas. We sincerely express our gratitude to them. This collection, published in five-line notation, features diverse genres, rich content, varying techniques, and difficulty levels, making it suitable for both professional folk music ensembles and amateur ensembles in primary, secondary, and university settings. The Selected Collection of Chinese Folk Music Ensemble Pieces is divided into five volumes, with six to seven pieces per volume, totaling thirty-three pieces. We sincerely hope experts and readers will provide valuable feedback.
