Features: Looking at the world today, whether in television technology or program production concepts, the United States is at the forefront. Although its commercial television operation mechanisms differ from those in China, after years of practical exploration and theoretical summarization, American television programs have developed to a mature and well-rounded stage, forming a relatively complete and practical operational paradigm. Many Chinese television professionals are actively seeking ways to adapt existing foreign experiences for their own use, taking the essence and discarding the dross, exploring a localized path. At the same time, many people face these issues: either they cannot find materials on foreign television programs or, even if they do, they lack the resources to conduct systematic and professional analysis of the programs. Based on this situation, the author systematically organized and analyzed various American television programs and used precious handheld video footage for intuitive research. On the basis of detailed organization and analysis of these materials, not only was a systematic introduction to the original programs provided, but also many meaningful localized reflections were conducted based on the actual conditions of Chinese television.
