Features: [The Importance of EQ] The core content of EQ can be summarized in the following four sentences: Master others' emotions; Know your own emotions; Respect others' emotions; Regulate your own emotions. If you have a particularly good mood today, you'll find you can influence others. If you're in a low mood, you'll find you're not doing well today. Why isn't it going smoothly? Because you're in a bad mood, and your emotions can affect others. Therefore, people with high EQ must be able to control their emotions. To influence others, they must first be able to control their own emotions, not let their bad mood affect others' emotions, and ultimately affect work.
In the knowledge economy era, people's emotions are becoming increasingly rich. The more knowledgeable a person is, the richer their emotions, and the more they need to interact with others in terms of EQ.
O'Neil is a talented sales manager, and people recognize that he can climb to the top management position of the company. O'Neil, following the instructions of the sales supervisor, is considering reorganizing direct sales. The sales supervisor asks O'Neil to express his views on this issue at the board meeting. Before the meeting, O'Neil contacts several departments that may be affected by his suggestions, trying to understand their opinions. Then, he adjusts his own ideas, making them adaptable to the established interests of all parties involved while not compromising his overall goals. However, to his surprise, when he presents his suggestions in the meeting, the financial supervisor sharply criticizes them, something he had not anticipated. This financial supervisor, not very familiar with O'Neil, points out financial loopholes in O'Neil's suggestions that could lead to increased costs and proposes his own cost-cutting plan. O'Neil feels extremely frustrated, but he remains calm. He explains and clarifies the issues raised by the financial supervisor, listing some favorable conditions for adopting his suggestions in the present or future. However, his suggestions are still rejected by the board. After reflecting on his failure, he decides to test his suggestions on a smaller scale. This approach allows him to check and verify his suggestions without incurring unnecessary costs.

Unfortunately, the sales and marketing supervisor, as well as the financial supervisor, reject his suggestions. Because his suggestions sound too costly and do not align with the new marketing strategy. Harley is stunned by their rejection and walks out of the meeting in a daze.
