Features: The world economy in the 21st century will gradually enter the development track of "economic integration and trade liberalization." After China's entry into the WTO, the domestic economy will also gradually integrate into these two aspects, which means that the competition of the market economy has broken through national borders. For Chinese enterprises to develop effectively in the new business environment, they must pay attention to quality management. In other words, quality has become a common theme for enterprise development in the 21st century. The quality management system standards formulated by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), namely the ISO9000 standards, are undoubtedly the "basic language" for enterprises worldwide to gain recognition in quality management. Therefore, introducing ISO9000 standards into a company's products or services has become a fundamental condition for international product competition and cooperation. At the turn of the century in 2000, the Hunan Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China focused the competition in financial services on service innovation, pioneering the introduction of ISO9000 standards into its personal business service system and achieving positive results. This was not only a beneficial attempt but also a bold initiative in service innovation. Based on the practical operations of the banking industry, we organized the writing of the book "ISO9000:2000 Banking Implementation Guide," which explores the quality management of the banking industry and summarizes the integration of ISO9000 standards into banking operations. The six chapters covered in this book are organized in the basic sequence of standard implementation in the banking industry while also considering the promotion process of ISO9000 standards, allowing readers to understand the essence of ISO9000 from the outside in and from simple to complex.
