What are the manifestations of intellectual disability?

Patient's question:

The child is over 3 years old, but they can't do many things and seem quite slow. I'd like to ask, what are the signs of intellectual disability?

Doctor's answer:

Manifestations: 1. Clumsy movements: Infants dislike playing with their hands, typically starting around 3 to 5 months of age, but if they still refuse to play with their hands or dislike putting toys in their mouths by the age of 2 to 3 years, it is abnormal. The child's movements are (immature), and even after learning to walk, their feet still kick each other randomly. There is a lot of purposeless movement, and adults are unclear about the child's intentions. 2. Poor concentration: The child shows little interest in external things or, if interested, the attention span is very short, and their reactions are slow. 3. Lower abilities: Language ability, thinking ability, memory ability, calculation ability, and inferential comparison ability are all inferior to those of peers.
