Features: The "Drug Chemistry Examination Guide" was written to meet the requirements of pharmacy education in the 21st century and closely align with the teaching needs of undergraduate biochemistry courses. As a supplementary textbook, it summarizes the fundamental theories and knowledge of drug chemistry in accordance with the instructors' lecture structure, emphasizing key points in each chapter while adhering to the principle of being concise and focused. It includes review questions for self-assessment. This book serves as a guide for undergraduate students studying drug chemistry, as well as for those preparing for entrance exams to graduate programs in drug chemistry. It can also be used as a reference for young teachers in preparing lessons, as well as for pharmacists engaged in clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical technology, and drug analysis and testing for review and practical use. The two companion textbooks for the "Drug Chemistry Examination Guide" are: "Drug Chemistry" (21st Century Curriculum Textbook), edited by Zang Wensheng and Li Anliang (Higher Education Press, October 1999); and "Drug Chemistry" (4th Edition, Ministry of Health Curriculum Textbook), edited by Zheng Hu (People's Press, December 2000). The "Drug Chemistry Examination Guide" consists of 21 chapters, each including three parts: basic requirements, test questions, and reference answers. The basic requirements provide explanations of key and challenging points in each chapter, primarily through written descriptions. When a drug name first appears in each chapter, the Chinese common name is given (with the English name in parentheses), and subsequent mentions use only the English name to reinforce students' memory of the English names, preparing them for drug chemistry exam questions and future international communication needs. The types of test questions include multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, definition, and short-answer questions. The multiple-choice question format matches that of the National Certified Pharmacy Technician Examination, including four types: A-type (best answer), B-type (matching), C-type (comparative), and X-type (multiple-choice). A-type questions require selecting the best answer from five options. B-type questions are matching questions with options listed first and questions listed second, each with only one correct answer, and options can be reused or not used at all. C-type questions are comparative questions, with five questions per group, each having only one correct answer. X-type questions are multiple-choice questions requiring selection of two or more correct answers. Fill-in-the-blank, definition, and short-answer questions are common formats in undergraduate exams, and for some key drugs, the book uses English names in the questions. In the reference answers, multiple-choice questions are provided with answers only, without explanations. Fill-in-the-blank answers are separated by semicolons. Definition and short-answer questions provide key points of the answers.
